I have been at MC for over a month, trying to balence football with a normal life. Sometimes it gets tough trying to be able to study have a social life and then playing football. Last week we played our first game against Millsaps College, we did not play well and were beaten badly. As in everything you do, you have to get back up and keep going and we did that this week. Im sitting in a hotel room in Kentucky as im typing, as we get ready for tomorrows game against Cumberlands University. I have developed over the past month physically and mentally to persevere through hard times and tough times and im looking to continue to do that.
I have also had to balence my time getting my assignments done and studying for my classes. I have had things do like papers, labs, quizes, and just regualr homework. It gets tough for me managing time and trying to make sure I have different assignments done on different days. I know I can do it, somtimes I just feel like it gets a little overbearing. So far classes have been fine and I have been able to keep up with all my work, I just have to make sure that I keep up with my work for the rest of the semester.
Trying to play football and keep up with my school work makes it even more difficult for me to have a socail life. MC gives you plenty of oppurtunites to plug in and get involved, but its tougher for me to find that groove. I have met plenty of great friends and even a girl that im starting to really like. I know that I will find my way into the MC family it is just something I will have to keep pursuing. I hope all of yall have found your groove and that your school year has started well.

Dang that was a good entry! You even mentioned Mo. Well I hope you're able to balance everything and enjoy college all at the same time.
I think that all of us are starting to get used to "college work." but good luck with football!:)
I know it's been hard for me to balance my academics and a social life, so I have alot of respect for you having football also added to a long list of things to do.
